My Philosophy & APPROACH

 

Treatment is about promoting change, and this change must come from within. As a therapist, I ask a great deal from my clients when I ask them to change, as change is incredibly hard. This journey towards change requires both the client and myself to work collaboratively and deeply. It is for this reason that the rapport between myself and the client is so vital. My Background

 

After completing my Bachelors of Arts in Human Development at The University of Chicago, I received my clinical training at Columbia University’s School of Social Work in New York City. I was trained comprehensively in both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic treatment. I have extensive experience working with people of varying ages and struggling with diverse issues. Read more about my background>

LOCATION AND SERVICES

 

The therapy space should be a safe place for you to explore underlying feelings, thought processes and behaviors, and it is my goal to provide you with this space, and the support needed to engage with the therapy process. I have both an in person and virtual practice located in Oak Park on Lake Street.

In addition to providing counseling services, I also provide organizational consultation.
